There is no "right" or "wrong" way to grow. There is no time limit. There is no stopwatch. The only thing creating this is the logical mind. And that defeats the entire purpose.
It's about letting go, coming to a place of ease & flow. It's about being ok with who we are & what we experience, yet our minds want to say "go faster, do more, do it this way". Growth is growth, period. Even standing still is growth (eventually) as once we start moving again, we realize we were standing still. There is no good or bad way to grow. Every experience IS a part of growth. We also can't compare our journey to another's. We all are on individual journeys of awakening & ascension according to our own soul. No soul is alike and no journey will be alike. We can share to help another, but we each have to figure out what works best for us. And be patient and kind to ourselves along the way.
Too much studying, reading, thinking can throw us into a tailspin, even a spiritual "depression". We want so much to do what our minds think we should be doing, when in all actuality, that is the intellect/ego trying to "control" again. It confuses us, places expectations and then limits our ability to grow with grace and ease.
Sometimes we have to take a "vacation" (even if a day or two) and rest, breathe, stop "thinking" and "stop working" on ourselves. We are supposed to be present & enjoying smelling the roses, breathing this energy of life, not missing it by focusing on "what we need to learn next".
So, if you find yourself focused on "how" to learn or grow, remember, BE present. Breathe. Open up to "see" and allow. Don't try to force it, don't try to drive it, don't try to control it. Release yourself from your own expectations and appreciate that you are doing something for YOU! And be HAPPY!
