Our belief system that is created in the physical world of expectation and duality, we learn to adhere to one perspective or thought system. In any given situation, we go "yes, I did it!" or "how could that happen to me?" or "I can't believe this person/they could do that to me" and so on & so on. We are taught to make everything personal. We are taught that we have to succeed in the eyes of others; that if we don't excel by others standards, including those who taught us, that we are not good enough. When we are old enough to start thinking for ourselves, when our intellect starts to form (5-6-7-8-9 years old, depending on individual growth), we carry over those teachings as our own thought/belief systems. We then spend the rest of our "lives" thinking the same way. We even learn to become experts at carrying those belief systems on & fine-tuning them into our own ego-based belief system. WE then take those things and we go "I can do better than that!" I can "think" those things and even more dysfunctional thoughts of my own! From there "lack" is abundant in whatever area is applicable to any given situation. Some have money but lack love. Others have love but no money. There is always duality in the world of an ego/thought-based belief system.
In this time of awakening and ascension, for everyone I have run across, something pivotal has happened to create a "what, wait a minute...", scratch our head... "but there is something more going on" experience. Something opens our eyes to other possibilities, but then the confusion sets in about "what" exactly that is. We feel it, but we don't quite understand it. Then our minds get involved and try to dissect it. Then the mind/heart duality experience starts on a whole new level than in the "past". In our previous state, we just ignored our intuition and our hearts much of the time. We gave into our thought processes because they just had to be right, as that is what we were told. How were we to think any differently? Confusion persists. The rest is a pathway that emerges, a new journey. A journey into beginning to merge dualities and trying to un-learn everything we have learned thus far. Death of the ego begins, which creates massive internal emotional suffering for many and minimally extreme discomfort for others, causes fears to run rampant, control issues to exacerbate, the list is endless. Our deepest fears and painful memories start to surface. But even through all of that, we still know there is something else. It is that knowing that keeps us going, hanging on. It is that knowing that is our heart overriding our mind. That knowing is what we feel and now come to understand and trust.
For me, I always had a very strong sense of knowing. I just knew. I knew things that others didn't. I don't think it was that I knew anymore than they did (although the ego would like to think that), but that I listened to it or trusted it more than many others. I knew things about people when I met them that others didn't "see" or desire to see. I knew "decisions." If there was a question, I knew the answer on how to do that. I didn't really question what I knew, I just knew. It was that knowing that gave me strength that others lacked in self. It was also that knowing that made me so "successful" in the business world and part of the reason why so many sought my advice on things.
That sense of knowing doesn't come from the mind, the ego-based, reasoning mind. That mind actually creates the chaos that we allow to interfere with our sense of knowing. We know or feel our truth. It is just instant. But when we don't get the answer we like, our reasoning, intellectual, ego-based mind decides it knows better and starts the "scenario" process. It is this scenario process that creates our fears, our doubt, our dis-trust and our self-created mind chaos that carries over into everything we do. So it is imperative in this new journey of awakening and realization to start to be able to tell the difference so that we can move to a heart-based knowing that will remove the resistance and create a flow of ease. The resistance creates discomfort. The heart is comfortable with anything, as it understands the perfection in absolutely everything. In a heart-based world, we do not lack. Our focus shifts to one of caring, acceptance and gratitude. Judgement, blame, distrust starts to fall away. We start to create a new world of balance. One of faith, love, honesty, respect and compassion for ourselves and others. We start to understand, as we grow, that we are all one being, one consciousness, one energy. In that moment that we "see" or "feel" that, our world opens to one of light, ease and promise. The darkness we have known in the past starts to dissipate. We start to accept ourselves and others and with the proper guidance of those who have experienced such things before us, we open up to learn about this "new world" with wide eyes of wonder and appreciation. We then begin our journey of awakening and ascension and awareness, as now "life" is a choice that we choose with a new purpose. One the reasoning mind can't comprehend.
