What are your thoughts? Are they ones of being a survivor, overcoming, enduring, abuse, negativity, lost experiences, poor relationships, abandonment or being without? Or are they of love and happiness and bliss?
On a physical level, no one has that "perfect" childhood/life. We all have obstacles, we all have hurdles, and we most certainly all have pain. We all also all have pleasant experiences, ones of absolute wonder. BUT, what does your mind go to first? Are they ones of sadness and pain or ones of happiness and love? This is a very telling sign of how we really, truly "think".
By using that realization, we can start to move through & clear, on a level of release, those things in our minds, OUR thoughts, that we perceive as memories. "Pull" that memory into your present moment. Is it technically happening right now? No, it is a thought. And we can choose to release a thought. Only when we choose to not live in "pain" anymore, subject to our thoughts, we can then choose to let them go. They are done, they are past, they are finished. They have served their purpose. Only if we "choose" pain, choose being stuck, do we still have something to learn, forgive heal. Who are you punishing with your pain? When will you decide you've had enough & choose a lighter choice... and let it go? When are you enough? When do you decide? Because ultimately, what you think, is your choice.
For those that find it hard to "let go"... the ego/intellect/reasoning mind is a bugger. It interferes. So there are tools, there are other resources that are available in helping us with "the way" that works best for us. There are a multitude of options that we didn't have access to before. The first is awareness. The second is choice.
I love you and now it is time for you to love you just as much.
In kindness,
Lisa
